International summer youth culinary camp
Within the project „Youth kitchen laboratory“, in period from 22.6.2019 to 26.6.2019 project team organised International summer youth culinary camp.The international camp gathered youth from Serbia, Croatia, Hungary, Romania and promoted cultural difference through culinary art, through socialising and acquisition of practical cooking skills and learning about cuisines of different ethnic groups. The moto of the first international cooking camp was “the same ingredients make up dishes of different national cuisines”.
This activity strengthened the capacities of the target group and established communication among young people from different national backgrounds, based on the platform for anti-discrimination, tolerance, international gastronomy and intercultural education.
Together with first class chefs, well known public personalities were also there to support the youth, Maja Volk (Belgrade) and Adrijana Bručić (Croatia), raising awareness on the importance and knowledge about healthy food, as a universal response to the challenges of contemporary civilization.
